Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Novatrix eSports Hub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You may register using an email address and password, or through a supported third-party provider (e.g., Google, Discord, Twitch, Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, X). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

One Account Per Person

Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans, manipulate features, or deceive other users is strictly prohibited.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform in a manner that is respectful, lawful, and consistent with these Terms. You are responsible for all content you post, share, or transmit through the Platform.

Prohibited Activities

You may not: (a) harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users; (b) post content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringing; (c) impersonate another person or entity; (d) use the Platform for spam, phishing, or distributing malware; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or Platform systems; (f) use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform without permission; (g) manipulate rankings, stats, or competitive features through cheating or exploitation.

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and share on the Platform. By posting content, you grant Novatrix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all user content but may do so to enforce these Terms.

The Platform, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all other proprietary materials, is owned by Novatrix Technology Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (including OAuth providers, game APIs like the Steam Web API and Riot Games API, and external websites). Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Novatrix eSports Hub is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by third-party providers such as Valve Corporation, Riot Games, Epic Games, Microsoft, Discord, Twitch, or Google. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or practices of any third-party service.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile and associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise detrimental to the Platform. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Novatrix Technology Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Novatrix Technology Solutions and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
